Choose Your Path: Competition vs. Non-Competition

Miss agHERculture offers two distinct ways to participate in our organization. Whether you want to shine on stage or advocate from home, we have a title for you:

1. Competition Titles (Miss agHERculture): For those who want to compete on stage at the State or National level for titles, awards, and scholarships.

2. Non-Competition Titles (agHER Ambassador): For those who want to advocate and perform community service without competing on stage (with an optional, simple online competition element).

 

Every registered participant; regardless of the track they choose will receive the official embroidered Miss agHERculture sash, beautiful crown, sash pin, and more!

Competition Titles (Miss agHERculture)

For contestants aiming for the stage and the crown.

State Queen

Who it’s for: Individuals who plan to attend and compete at the National Pageant for National titles, awards, and scholarships. Availability: Up to three titles are awarded per age division, per state. These are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Pricing:

  • Registration: $375 (Includes a $275 entry fee and a mandatory $100 Scholarship Fund Fee, which is credited directly toward your National Entry Fees).

  • National Pageant Fees: Start at $350 (varies based on your desired level of competition).

City Queen (Texas System only)

Who it’s for: Individuals in Texas who plan to attend and compete at the Texas State Pageant for State titles, awards, and scholarships. Individuals who win at the state pageant will continue onto the National Competition.

Availability: One title is awarded per age division, per city on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Pricing:

  • Registration: $200 (Includes a $150 entry fee and a mandatory $50 Scholarship Fund Fee, which is credited directly toward your State Entry Fees).

  • State Pageant Fees: Start at $200 (varies based on your desired level of competition).

Non-Competition Titles (agHER Ambassador)

For those who want a platform to serve and advocate, without the stage competition.

​

As an Ambassador, you register to represent your state as an advocate for agriculture. While there is no stage pageant required, you do have the exciting, optional opportunity to compete in a simple, online-only competition for three National Ambassador titles.

• Age Divisions:

  • agHER Princess: Ages 0–10

  • agHER Queen: Ages 11–21

  • agHER Elite: Ages 22+

• Availability: Unlimited state ambassador titles are available.

• Registration Pricing:

  • Princess: $150

  • Queen & Elite: $200

• Optional Online National Competition (due November 1, 2027):

  • Entry Fee: $50

  • Areas of Competition: Essay, Resume(s), and Photogenic.

Reign Timelines & Re-Registration

• One Title Limit: To ensure as many girls and women as possible have the opportunity to represent our organization, individuals may only hold one title per year (either a Miss agHERculture Competition Title or an agHER Ambassador Non-Competition Title).

• Competition Titles (Queens): Your official reign begins the day you receive your official "Title Announcement" email and concludes at the end of your respective State or National Pageant.

• Non-Competition Titles (Ambassadors): Your official reign begins the day you receive your official "Title Announcement" email and concludes at the end of the National Competition.

 

Returning Royalty Perks: All registered Queens and Ambassadors will be given the opportunity to re-register for the following year at a discounted rate once their respective pageants and competitions conclude!
