Taylor Hood, Miss Lonestar State is hailing from Spring, Texas. Taylor is a sophomore majoring in Agribusiness with a concentration in Ranch Management at Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Her deep-rooted passion for agriculture began during her active involvement in FFA throughout high school, culminating in her receipt of the prestigious FFA American Degree at the 2024 National FFA Convention. Beyond academics, Taylor extends her influence through community engagement as a member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo's Junior Rodeo Committee, where she plays an integral role in promoting agricultural education and youth involvement. With her title, Taylor aims to inspire others by advocating for the importance of agricultural education while emphasizing the urgent need for developing future leaders capable of addressing global demands for sustainable and safe food sources.
