Introducing your 2025 Mrs. Pennsylvania, Hannah Adams! "I'm Hannah Adams, a dedicated dog trainer, small business owner, and advocate for a division of agriculture that isn't always well known. At 31 years old, I am happily married to my soulmate, Mick, and together we are proud parents to five wonderful children. While we don’t currently have a farm, I have cared for a variety of farm animals over the years and hope to return to that lifestyle in the near future, especially as an educational experience for our children. Our family life is filled with love, adventure, and, of course, all things dogs. My husband and I own and operate Down Home Dog Resort & Training, an enrichment-based dog boarding, daycare, and training facility. I launched my professional dog training career at just 19 years old and have been deeply committed to the field ever since. My passion lies in helping owners build stronger, more fulfilling relationships with their dogs through structured training, enrichment, and responsible ownership. Alongside our work, Mick and I actively compete in various dog sports, including dock diving, Fast CAT, and more. Beyond training and working with dogs of all breeds, I am deeply invested in educating the public on Pennsylvania Dog Laws (a division of the PA Department of Agriculture), advocating for responsible breeding practices, supporting rescues and shelters, and promoting comprehensive dog ownership—including proper training, exercise, and socialization. I am committed to raising awareness about the differences between ethical and unethical breeding while also encouraging adoption and responsible pet care. I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and continuing important conversations about dogs, responsible ownership, and agriculture. Let’s work together to make a positive impact!"
